When you are level 1-15, it is best to shoot at shapes only. Never attack. At this point, your best defense is speed. At level 15-30, you can defend yourself, but you should still focus on shapes. Between level 30-45, you can start killing some people, but don't completely abandon the shapes yet. This is a good time to try to kill the alpha pentagons. As you upgrade your skill tree, don't abandon max health and regeneration completely. You should do at least 2/3.
